Welcome to Ffres

If you’re involved in food tourism in South West Wales then Ffres is for you. This website is designed to bring all those involved in the burgeoning food tourism sector in our region closer together. You may be a hospitality provider - perhaps a restaurant, cafe, hotel, B&B, pub, or a takeaway. Alternatively, you may be a delicatessen, a farm shop, a wholesaler or maybe you are one of the ever-growing band of producers supplying the quality raw materials that are making the food offering of our region so distinctive.

Ffres is a place we can come to find about each other, establish better links, learn what’s going on in terms of promotions and events. It’s a place to find other businesses with similar experiences that can offer mutual support and advice.

It’s a place where we can strengthen the links in our regional food chain by putting people in touch and finding new and innovative ways to do business together. Use our directory, take part in our forums, tap into our news and keep abreast of activities using our calendar of events.

Ffres exists to help us all strengthen and improve our businesses and therefore developing the offering of the region as a whole – and we all stand to gain from that.

Simon Wright, Ffres Chair.

If this website is for you and you are keen to get involved then please register now, registration is quite painless and completely free. You will be asked a number of questions but only a few are compulsory, once these are completed and sent off to us you will receive a confirmation email to verify your email address. Click on the link in the email and you are registered. We will need a short time to verify your registration and authorise it, this just allows us to filter out any bogus registrations and keep the membership relevant and we will get around to this asap, usually the same day.

We would encourage you to fill this in as much as you possibly can, bear in mind that this information is going to be read by others in the community who may be in the market for your products and services. We are hoping that the discourse on the forums will develop into revealing and mutually beneficial discoveries about the food tourism in South West Wales. To get the ball rolling please introduce yourself in the relevant "Introductions" area.

You can view the calendar, by day, week, month even year. If there is a date highlighted on the mini calendar in the Navigation Menu this means there is an event on that day, just give it a click to found out more.
